The "I tell the truth except when I lie motorcycle helmet sticker" is the honesty policy that immediately undermines itself and is somehow more honest for doing so. The disclaimer is built right in — which is either the most transparent thing ever said or the most cleverly constructed cover story. Riders who enjoy a good paradox and openly acknowledge they bend the truth whenever it's convenient will recognize this as the most accurate self-description available. Wear it on your bucket and let people decide which version they're getting.
